Introducing Canna Bear
I started Aireals Agenda to help alleviate some of the stress of living with epilepsy. She dreams of the day that she will be free from the burdens of the condition she faces. Having suffered from a severe seizure disorder since infancy, Aireal has never lived a “normal” lifestyle.
When I, James M. Cruce, first met Aireal, she had 100s of seizures daily, making several trips to the local hospital each week with no explanation for why she continued to have such severe events. No one gave her that much longer to live.
I introduced her to cannabis in May of 2013. I had to break the law to provide her with these medicines but had recently watched a documentary called Weed by Sanjay Gupta and wanted to try. Know that cannabis did not magically solve all of her issues. She still required anti-seizure meds, time, and counseling to get them somewhat under control.
With just a few smoking sessions, there was a noticeable difference in the regularity of her fits. Within a few months, she was down to only weekly trips to the ER, and within a year, she was down to only a couple of trips a month.
Now it is late 2021, and we have not only come through a global pandemic together, but she also watched as I became JCruceWeb. It is through this act that I first met Mike. A charitable man who turned me on to the Compassion Giveaway. Once Aireal Learned of the event and what it stood for, I could see the flickers of passions fire alight in her eyes, and I was in love with this wonderful movement.
It spread like wildfire! I had never seen this before, and I liked what I saw. Dusting off the alias Canna bear for the occasion, she set to work, and the rest is history in the making.
